Play Text Twist 2!
The first instalment revolutionized the casual word games but Text Twist 2 has made it even better. It takes the genre to the next level with lots of exciting additions and improvements. It is both addicting and therapeutic. You just can’t let go of your device while you also get to improve your vocabulary.
It’s time to get wordy with more than 25,000 challenging words to find. Expand your vocabulary with lots of familiar words to see and several new words to add in your list. If you get stuck, simply click “Twist”, which you can do for as many times as you can, to see a fresh new set of scrambled letters. You will be able to see a few new words that you haven’t thought of before.
As the improved version of the word game that is most often imitated, Text Twist 2 introduces three additional modes to its two previous Timed and Untimed modes. These include Word of the Day, Letter Mania or Crossword, and Lighting modes. The simple yet addictive gameplay becomes even more exciting and challenging for every player.
Each mode has its own different rule. The Timed mode allows you find the words and move on to the next level in just two minutes and 30 seconds. It’s the exact opposite in the Untimed mode because you have the luxury of time to find the words. However, these two words require you to find the longest word, one with at least 6 letters to proceed to the next round.
The three new modes may have their own set of roles but the concept is still the same. Compared to the original game, the Word of the Day and Untimed mode are quite similar while the Lighting and Crossword modes are much like the Timed mode. You still need to find the right letter or word combinations with some little variations.
Most players would love the free round skips in Text Twist 2. You can simply move to the next level without having to find the longest word. There are no more frustrations, especially if you are playing the Timed mode when you already feel the pressure once the time is ticking to the ends. However, these are also limited so you have to be careful and use the options wisely.
If you are going to choose between the first and second versions, which one will you play? I would love Text Twist 2 with its additional challenges. However, there is nothing wrong with the first. It will still be your preference that matters.
